Research Overview
Follistatin-344 is a 344-amino-acid glycoprotein isoform that binds members of the TGF-β superfamily, including myostatin and activin. It is widely used as a reference binding partner in preclinical research examining myostatin sequestration and downstream Smad signalling in cell-based models.
Quality & Testing
Every Follistatin-344 batch is independently verified by an accredited third-party laboratory using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and mass spectrometry to confirm both purity and molecular identity. Every order number is tracked internally against the supply-chain testing for the batches it shipped from — we don’t publish batch documents, which are routinely copied by other vendors. For testing information relating to your order, contact us with your order number.
Handling & Storage
Follistatin-344 is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Store at -20°C and protect from light and moisture prior to reconstitution. For laboratory reconstitution volume and concentration calculations, see our Reconstitution Calculator.
