Research Overview

KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide fragment (residues 11-13) of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. Research has examined its interaction with melanocortin signalling pathways and its influence on inflammatory signalling cascades in preclinical and in-vitro models. It remains among the most-studied small melanocortin fragments in mucosal and epithelial barrier research.

Quality & Testing

Every KPV batch is independently verified by an accredited third-party laboratory using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and mass spectrometry to confirm both purity and molecular identity. Every order number is tracked internally against the supply-chain testing for the batches it shipped from — we don’t publish batch documents, which are routinely copied by other vendors. For testing information relating to your order, contact us with your order number.

Handling & Storage

KPV is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Store at -20°C and protect from light and moisture prior to reconstitution. For laboratory reconstitution volume and concentration calculations, see our Reconstitution Calculator.

Research Use Only. KPV is sold exclusively for in-vitro laboratory and scientific research. It is not intended for human or veterinary use, is not a drug, food, or cosmetic, and has not been evaluated by Health Canada or the FDA.
