Research Overview

MGF is a splice variant of insulin-like growth factor-1 generated in response to mechanical loading, distinguished by a unique C-terminal E-domain sequence. Research has examined its role as a locally acting signalling peptide in preclinical myogenic and tissue-repair models.

Quality & Testing

Every MGF batch is independently verified by an accredited third-party laboratory using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and mass spectrometry to confirm both purity and molecular identity. Every order number is tracked internally against the supply-chain testing for the batches it shipped from — we don’t publish batch documents, which are routinely copied by other vendors. For testing information relating to your order, contact us with your order number.

Handling & Storage

MGF is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Store at -20°C and protect from light and moisture prior to reconstitution. For laboratory reconstitution volume and concentration calculations, see our Reconstitution Calculator.

Research Use Only. MGF is sold exclusively for in-vitro laboratory and scientific research. It is not intended for human or veterinary use, is not a drug, food, or cosmetic, and has not been evaluated by Health Canada or the FDA.
